Program Experience

Live and learn in the vibrant global fashion scene of New York City.

The ‘Big Four’

New York City is one of the ‘Big Four’ fashion capitals of the world and boasts more headquarters of fashion designers and fashion retailers than any other city in the United States.

About the Academics

With New York City as their home and classroom, Vogue Summer School students are immersed in the most vibrant global fashion capital with galleries, exhibitions, flagship stores, fashion designer headquarters, studios and ateliers, and much more right in their backyard. The program provides students with an environment to study and explore the fashion world while forming life-long connections with friends and having unrivalled access to the best and brightest minds in the industry. Our instructors are award-winning Vogue and Condé Nast journalists and other industry experts in the business and strategic sides of the fashion, media and lifestyle industries.

Academic and nonacademic components of the program are integrated in a holistic approach that ensures students are making the most of their time both inside and outside of the classroom.

Students can elect to attend Vogue Summer School as either a residential or day student.

Residential Students

Residential students stay in a dorm-like facility in the heart of New York City and are overseen by program staff. The residence hall is located across the street from their classrooms at the General Electric Building, 570 Lexington Avenue in Midtown East. The location equips students with easy access to Central Park, Times Square, Fifth Avenue, and Broadway — the perfect starting point to explore everything NYC has to offer. Students participate in a rich set of evening and weekend activities to complement the academic program.

Day Students

On weekday mornings, day students commute to classrooms inside the General Electric Building at 570 Lexington Avenue in Midtown East to participate in the academic program. Students may also choose to participate in evening and weekend activities.
